EcoBright ST19 LED Edison Bulb, 2700K Warm White, 800 Lumens, 60W Equivalent

I like the look of the light coming from these bulbs. They are quite large and light up a room well. I didn't notice any extra heat in the room after putting these into the lamps, so they don't heat up that much. All of the bulbs made it here without breaking too, so I would say they are pretty durable. They work very well and I think they are worth the price.

Brightness:I measured the bulbs brightness using a home studio setup and a phone lux meter app, and the illumination is about 10% less than 60W incandescent bulb. The brightness is slightly smaller than the advertised brightness of 800 lumens.The bulbs project most of their light sideways. Because of the way the filaments are positioned, the forward illumination (below the bulb if hung vertically) is only half as bright.Power and Energy Efficiency:I measured the power consumption and it was 6.3W - less than advertised 9W. So overall, they are less powerful and less bright than the description suggests.Based on the ratio of the overall brightness to the energy consumption, these bulbs offer energy efficiency that is typical for a LED bulb, which is quite good for a decorative bulb type.Visual Appeal:The large bulbs with a unique shape and filament LEDs are very visually appealing, some of the best-looking LED lights.The bulbs cast a warm white light similar to incandescent bulbs, which is consistent with their 2700K color temperature rating. For a bright white daytime light that LEDs are known for, look for the bulbs with temperature rating of 4000K and above.Value:Based on price at the time of review, these bulbs offer good value for the price. The biggest factor will be the bulbs lifetime and it is too early to say. Every bulb in the pack worked flawlessly out of the box.Best places to use:Ideal for cozy settings. Best in fixtures where the bulb itself is on display, such as open lamps or decorative pendants.Worst places to use:Where forward spot illumination is needed, such as a lamp shade above a table (because of the illumination pattern as described above).

I was a VERY early adopter of LED filament bulbs when they were VERY expensive. It is amazing to me how far the technology has come in only a few years. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with these bulbs. The put out a very nice warm, natural light that passed the wife test. Highly recommended.

One of the best things about these bulbs has nothing to do with the bulbs themselves. I'm still trying to get my old brain to memorize the "new" wattage for led bulbs. When I saw the package that clearly shows in big characters the old school wattage of these bulbs, I said a silent thank you to the light bulb gods.But, that's not the only great thing about them. They're longer than the Edison bulbs I usually get, so they have more of a "presence" in my fixtures. The light isn't blinding and it dims to an intimate and cozy glow - perfect for romantic dinners.

We bought a house that must have been designed by an electrician. There are outlets everywhere, including for outdoor Christmas Lights operated by indoor switches. Indoor lights, outdoor lights, running light on our stair cases, mercury vapor lights on the barn - even the birdfeeder is wired!What did not make sense was the instillation of non-dimmable LED light in the ceiling fan in the Primary Bedroom. They flickered, made noise, and were plain unhappy if the brightness was not at 100%. We were not happy either!We ordered these lights. They fit perfectly, were the correct warmth in color, and were most importantly, dimmable. What a difference! No more flickering or hissing, an no rude awakenings in the darkness of night at the flip of a light switch! There are perfect - as far as lightbulbs go - and fit our needs!
