These bulbs work well in places where soft, warm, lighting is desired. Though they're not quite as bright as we expected, ours are used over our bathroom mirror and provide plenty of light for applying makeup without being so bright that you have to squint to see properly. If you prefer bright vanity lighting, these are not for you as they are definitely on the dimmer side for this type of use. Note that these bulbs are also much longer than the average bulb so there could be some installation issues with certain types of fixtures, so be sure to check the item dimensions.

I was so happy to find these Edison style bulbs in amber. My daughter prefers softer warm light in her dining area, and these are great!

I love these light bulbs and eventually would like to replace all of my bulbs with these. I have purchased this brand before and while I have not had them 13 years they are working perfectly. These have an amber glow so it isn't that bright white light that can be blinding.These come well protected during shipment and seem better made than top brands. Highly recommend if you are looking for bulb replacements.

Beautiful and bright bulbs!The lights all came in tact and fit perfectly in my lamp which also happens tp be dimmable. No problems at all with the 3 dimmable settings.I would purchase these again!
